Biographical Info
I am a French independent scholar, 63 years old, of Spanish and Moroccan heritage. My life has been shaped by a long personal and intellectual journey across Sub-Saharan Africa, India, and the Middle East, where I spent nearly thirty years working in humanitarian and development organizations while pursuing spiritual exploration.
Over the years, I have been closely involved with Sufi circles as well as with the ashram of Sri Aurobindo in India.
In recent years, I have felt deeply drawn to liberal Protestantism, and especially to Process Theology, which resonates strongly with my own intellectual and spiritual trajectory.
My current research interests include:
– the transformation of contemporary Islam;
– the intersections between Muhammad Iqbal, Sri Aurobindo, and Teilhard de Chardin;
– the dialogue between Process Theology and emerging forms of spiritual consciousness;
– the relationship between theology, future studies, cognitive evolution, gender, AI, quantum thought, and space exploration.
I am currently preparing an academic doctoral project entitled:
“Contemporary Islam and Process Theology: Emergences, Convergences, and Theological Implications.”
I am now seeking research supervision between the University of Strasbourg (France) and potential academic partnerships in the United States, especially within institutions engaged in Process thought.
