I am a retired professor of world religions; a Christian-influenced-by-Buddhism; and author of several books, including What is Process Thought: Seven Answers to Seven Questions (Process Century Press, 2020). In addition I am editor of the process-0riented website, Open Horizons, which features short essays on many topics related to process thought, and a member of the board of the Cobb Institute for Community and Practice. I play guitar in several bands where I live, both in restaurants and, most fulfillingly, in senior citizen centers and memory care units for friends with Alzheimers. My wife Kathy is also a member of Process and Faith. Here is an essay we wrote together: https://www.openhorizons.org/god-is-in-control.html. We have two sons, Jason and Matthew, one living in San Diego, California, and the other in Providence, Rhodes Island.
