Biographical Info
I was born and raised the mountains of Colorado and attended colleges in Wisconsin and Washington state. After switching from a Biochemistry major to a Religious studies major in my undergraduate, I have found that the pluralistic conversations around religiosity, spirituality, and practices often boil down to a simple question - how can we live emotionally and spiritually fulfilling lives. As a youth director at a Lutheran church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, I want to continually ask this question to youth and families, developing ways for them to find spiritually and emotionally fulfilling lives both within and outside a Christian context. I practice my own spirituality by discovering new paths to follow, whether Buddhist practices of meditation and awareness, or process-theological writings from John B, Cobb, Celia Deane-Drummond, and others. I am passionate about mental health and am perusing Masters of Mental Health Counseling currently.
