Biographical Info
Dr. Torbitzky is a professor of philosophy and religion and university Chaplain at Lindenwood University, in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her doctorate from Claremont Graduate University, in Claremont, CA and her Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. She teaches courses including World Religions, Islam and the West, Religions of India, Women, Religion, and Violence, and African American Religions. Torbitzky’s research investigates Whiteheadian notions of subjective form as connected to Christ and the internal relations subjective form has on the ordering of eternal objects in the primordial nature of God.
