Biographical Info
I am a Ph.D. student and instructor of philosophy at Saint Louis University. Prior to transitioning to SLU, I obtained two master's degrees: one in philosophy from the University of Alberta, and the other in logic from Allameh Tabataba'i University. My philosophical research interests lie in analytic metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of religion. I am also interested in the history of philosophy namely philosophy in the Judeo-Christian and Islamic medieval and early modern times. During my most recent MA program, I conducted research on the metaphysics of ordinary material objects, with a particular focus on the puzzle of coincident objects, under the supervision of Professor Kathrin Koslicki. Currently, my research centers on the metaphysics of consciousness, specifically the efficacy of mental causation from the point of view of panpsychism, under the guidance of Professor Eleonore Stump.
