I hold a background in Forestry from the University of Georgia and have experience working with the U.S. Forest Service. My journey has included deep engagement with Zen practice at the San Francisco and Atlanta Zen Centers, as well as extensive work in vegetation management for urban natural areas as Cascade Springs Forestry. Currently, my focus is on studying the transformative ideas of Brian Swimme, Mary Evelyn Tucker, and Thomas Berry, particularly the works The Universe Story, Journey of the Universe and The Story of the Noosphere, exploring the interconnectedness of life and the evolving human role within the cosmos.
