Biographical Info
Anand Veeraraj is an ordained minister in the Church of South India, recently retired from pastoral ministries. He and his wife relocated to Warminster, Pennsylvania. Now he devotes his time to environmental causes, advancing sustainable environmental projects in India. Currently, he promotes, (1) the Solar Ovens project for rural and tribal regions, (2) the Meghalayan Congress – an all-India conference on Sustainable Environment, (3) and the EcoCovenant Academy project. He holds a Ph.D. in Eco-Theology [Green Theology]. His doctoral program was guided by his Guru, John B. Cobb, Jr., at the Claremont School of Theology, California. He is the author of Green History of Religion and a few other books.
